Guitar

Tangoguitar is a mix of classical music, jazz and folk. You can play pieces in the ‘classical' way with fingers, mostly used for repertoire with more voicings. But you can also play with a pick when you accompany or play solo voicings.

During the private lessons you will learn to interpretate solo arrangements of the tango repertoire. Also we will work on chord progressions and interpretation of the melody.

In the guitar ensemble syou will play in quartet or quintet, in which you will melody and accompaniment.

If you want to try out, you can always follow a workshop. You will then get to know the basic principles of playing tango with guitar. At the end of the workshop you will be able to play the three basic forms of tango; tango, milonga and waltz.

Level: (semi) advanced. Preperation for Conservatory is possible.

The private and ensemble lessons will be given every week and every two weeks.

The dates for the workshop will be announced.
